Elements of Shipboard Safety Course Qld (ESS)
Elements of Shipboard Safety (E.S.S.) covers sea safety and survival units covering on board and in water practical. Using Flares, Fire Extinguishers, swimming in Life Jackets and deploying a Life Raft are some of the tasks. ESS is covered in the Coxswains courses but can be done as a stand alone for those people who need it as a deckhand.
Not a Cert. course but 4 units that count towards most Skippers tickets
